Prescriptions
Most medications are dispensed during consultations and after examinations by the veterinary surgeon.
Current legislation requires to carry out regular re-examinations to confirm the usefulness of the medication, the accuracy of the dosage and the absence of significant side effects.
Most long term conditions will require a veterinary re-examination at no more than 3 month intervals subject to the judgement of the clinician in charge of the case.
For owners requiring ongoing supplies of medication we will endeavour to prepare prescriptions within 24 hours.
Please telephone the surgery to order repeat prescriptions.
Clent Hills Vet Group is able to provide written prescriptions on request but will require at least 24 hours notice. Please note that there is a charge for this service.
